What is yoga nidra?

An ancient practice of deep relaxation with a new base in modern science. Nidra is an opportunity to teach your body how to relax in an effective, gentle, guided way.

Why are you teaching it?

  1. Many people I see for therapy & resilience coaching benefit from more powerful skills in relaxing (yes it’s a skill, no we can’t all do it naturally)
  2. Because I have found it to be one of the most potent tools in my personal stress-busting arsenal

What’s it like?

Yoga nidra means ‘yogic sleep.’ You get to spend half an hour laying down through a guided practice that intelligently relaxes the larger muscles first and works its way inward to the brain. It supports us in moving out of thinking & doing states, into being states, and back out again into the world.
